Alvogen is ready for the climb

Alvogen held its annual Strategic Leadership Conference in New York City in January. Fifty-five of the company’s leaders attended the meeting where Alvogen’s vision, strategy and business priorities for 2011 were discussed.

At the largest event of its kind Alvogen has hosted, the company’s senior managers spoke about their vision for the company, while the author of the book Younger Next Year, spoke about the importance of staying in shape both mentally and physically.

Most memorably, Alvogen’s Executive Chairman, Robert Wessman, introduced the company’s Roadmap 2015, outlining how Alvogen will become a top ten global generics player in the next four years.

“We have assembled the right team, built our portfolio, signed up with strong business partners and launched our first products outside the U.S.,” noted Robert. “Our systems are in place and we have mapped the route forward. Alvogen is ready for the climb.”

Robert also outlined how the Alvogen team will succeed in building the next-generation generics company through the strategic selection of products, partners and markets, and the utilization of an effective global supply chain.

“The Alvogen team is a dynamic group of experienced, street-smart people from around the world, known for our exceptional track records and ability to execute and deliver strong business results,” he added. “I am confident that we have assembled the ideal group of people to help us all achieve our ambitions.”

The entire team in NYC was motivated and excited about the promise of the coming challenges. Alvogen is indeed ready for the climb.
