Alvogen for Africa

Our Approach

Alvogen employees around the world have reached out to family, friends and business partners whose generosity will allow us in turn to reach out to thousands of children in Africa.

Investing in children

Two decades ago, a civil war began in Sierra Leone that lasted 11 years. Ten years on, the emotional and physical scars are still evident, particularly for the children who were forced to fight,

and their struggle now is to find hope in the aftermath of the conflict.

Alvogen for Africa foundation

Donations from the Alvogen for Africa Foundation and Alvogen employees are an important way of supporting a wide range of activities. Volunteerism is another, as Alvogen colleagues around the world donate their time and talent to foster their local communities.

Local communities

Alvogen is committed to making a difference in the local communities in which it operates. With a focus on the needs of each geographic area, Alvogen leaders encourage efforts by their employees to strengthen the communities in which they live and work. This is through supporting charitable contributions, lending expertise through participation on

governing boards of local agencies, or donating time and effort to worthy causes.

One example of these efforts is seen in our Norwich, New York manufacturing facility where the employees hold an annual fund raising campaign for the United Way, where Norwich is one of its largest supporters.
