Senior Analyst, Government Pricing

SUMMARY OF POSITION 

Alvogen’s Senior Analyst, Government Pricing leads the researching and processing of all claims related to state and federal rebate programs including: Medicaid, Medicaid Supplemental Programs, 340B/PHS, Medicare Part D, TRICARE, and State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs.  The Senior Analyst serves as the technical point of contact for government programs in respects to the iContracts contract management system and Alvogen’s SAP system.   The Senior Analyst is responsible for the continued maintenance of pricing methodologies and standard operating procedures.

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

The Senior Analyst Government Pricing reports to the Senior Manager, Government Programs Compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:

  • Monthly, quarterly and annual calculation of government pricing calculations (AMP, ASP, BP, PHS, NFAMP, FCP, etc.)
  • Maintain government pricing methodologies and standard operating procedures as they pertain to government programs compliance to reflect current state and federal legislation.
  • Perform trend analytics and comparisons to benchmark and support calculations.  
  • Review analytical reporting to provide recommendations to Senior Management in regard to price increases and contract negotiations which significantly impact revenue.
  • Oversee the processing and approval of payments to state and federal government agencies such as Medicaid, Part D Coverage Gap, TRICARE, IFF and State Supplemental Rebates, processing by Compliance Analyst.
  • Administer the testing and upgrades of the contract management system (iContracts) to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform reconciliation between both systems SAP and iContracts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong analytical skills including an acute attention to detail.
  • SAP experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and respond to a high volume of work in a deadline intense environment.
  • A self-starter, able to work independently and manage one’s own time.
  • Interest in government programs and policy with a focus on compliance.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written with a desire to forge new interpersonal relationships.  Must have excellent customer relations and customer service skills.
  • Willingness and capability to tackle analytical assignments, exercising discretion in reviewing prior to making recommendations.  High level of proficiency with the Microsoft office suite including Microsoft Excel.
  • 3-5 years government rebate and pricing experience.
