Sr. Chargeback Analyst

SUMMARY OF POSITION 

The Sr. Chargeback Analyst is responsible for reviewing and processing membership, add, changes and deletes as required to maintain accurate contract eligibility. Process chargebacks daily to ensure timely and accurate credits to wholesaler receivables. Weekly Chargeback processed reconciliation between iContracts and SAP (GL).

 

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE 

This position reports to the Manager of Chargeback Operations and has no direct reports. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Process Lead for chargeback adjudication
  • Monthly Audit of customer (member) level of opioid disbursements to ensure that Alvogen is compliant with all government regulations and support DEA Compliance Director
  • Adjudicate and process all customer chargeback submissions including all manual submissions and resubmissions for payment. This entails identify and resolve all customer, product and vendor not covered or found.
  • Work directly with customers to resolve chargeback disputes in accordance with the contract
  • Maintain and manage GPO membership rosters for eligibility
  • Weekly Analysis of all Commercial Contract changes – 
  • Weekly Chargeback Reconciliations of iContracts to SAP (GL)
  • Weekly Working Capital Reconciliations of iContracts to SAP (GL)
  • Reconcile chargeback deductions – facilitate collection of denial and work with collections team
  • Manage and respond to requests for GPO Audit of membership and chargebacks
  • Audit of Chargeback Membership data for inconsistencies related to rejections and or other membership eligibility issues
  • Audit and review of Chargeback for proactive corrections to avoid future errors and rejections 
  • Liaison between IT and Sales Operations for EDI transactions from IBM to iContracts
  • Assist the Commercial Rebate Team in preparation and adjudication of small claims
  • Special projects as needed

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s desired 
  • 5 + years of experience in pharmaceutical industry in Chargebacks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel – Pivot tables a plus
  • Dispute Resolution - some negotiation skills
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees and management
  • Ability to make decisions and implement process improvements 
  • Must have excellent customer relations and customer service skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, relentless drive and a problem solver
  • Good follow-up and follow-through and a sense of urgency
