Divya Patel

Divya has worked with Alvogen since 2009 and formally joined the company in 2012.  He was appointed as the CEO of Alvogen in January 2026.

Divya has held various pharmaceutical leadership positions during the past 30 years, including Executive Chairman of Actavis in the US.  In addition, he has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare investing with a focus on the pharmaceutical and longevity-science sectors. For Alvogen, he provides a proven track record as a senior leader in the generic pharmaceutical space.

His activities at Alvogen have included complex drug substance sourcing, oversight of R&D and business development strategy.

Divya holds a Bachelor of Science in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester and Masters in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina.
