For the second year in a row, Alvogen made quite a splash at the annual CphI event, which this year was hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. CphI is the largest pharmaceutical networking event in the world and this year attracted over 30,000 visitors from over 140 countries. This gave us all a wonderful opportunity to meet up with international pharmaceutical companies face-to-face, and to chat with old partners and new contacts, as well as current and potential customers.

There was never a dull moment at the Alvogen booth, which really stood out in the crowd, thanks to its design inspired by molecule shapes, racing and fun. Some 35 senior managers from Alvogen, including our recently appointed President of North- and South America, Darren Alkins, were there to connect with the guests first-hand.

The most entertaining event at the Alvogen stand this year was the driving rally on the race simulator. The purpose of this fun exercise was to highlight the company’s quest for strong drivers in pharma and challengers that can move fast. More than 150 drivers enrolled and were guided through a 6 minute driving experience. The three winners were Santiago Diaz Mejfa (1st), Enrique Caballero (2nd) and Aron Leopoldsson (3rd) whose trophies included the brand new iPhone 5S and an abundant flow of bubbly champagne.
