Over 40 managers from Alvogen and Alvotech made their way to the CPhI in Frankurt last week. The CPhI is one of the most important events for the industry in the world with more than 30,000 visitors from 140 countries gathering and important business opportunities being formed.
Since there are two major Formula 1 tracks near Frankfurt, this year we chose a racing theme for our booth. Our guests were given the opportunity to compete in a state-of-the-art Formula 1 simulator.
SANTIAGO DIAZ MEJIA FROM PHARMAXIS WON 1ST PRIZE FOR HIS DRIVING SKILLS IN THE FORMULA 1 SIMULATOR WITH ROBERT WESSMAN, CEO OF ALVOGEN. Our special guest on this occasion was none other than Ben Collins, one of the fastest drivers in the game, previously known as “The Stig” on BBC’s acclaimed TOP GEAR show, which captivated a Global TV Audience of 500 MILLION viewers for almost a decade. We congratulate the winner of the Formula 1 racing competition, Santiago Diaz Mejia from Pharmaxis, who outperformed everyone else and clearly demonstrated that, for a moment at least, he was the fastest driver in pharma!
CPhI 2017 was a huge success for Alvogen and Alvotech and we’re already looking forward to CPhI 2018 which will be hosted in Madrid!
